Voice Recording, Transcription, and AI Processing Disclosure

Version 2026-07-30.2 · Effective July 30, 2026

What happens when a homeowner affirmatively chooses live voice.

Separate consent before microphone access

Live voice is optional. OttoServ must show this disclosure and record your affirmative consent before requesting browser microphone permission or opening a provider session.

If enabled, audio may be transmitted to the approved voice provider, transcribed, and processed by AI to organize project facts, questions, and scope. Provider configuration, the separate voice gate, and affirmative homeowner consent must all be verified before a session can start.

Your choices

You can use typed intake without enabling live voice. Do not include information that is unnecessary for the project.

Voice consent does not authorize marketing, professional outreach, scheduling, payment, dispatch, or autonomous action.

This policy governs the current OttoServ Marketplace workflow from the effective date shown above. Questions or privacy requests may be sent through the contact form or to jonathan@ottoservco.com.
