Marketplace and Contractor-Role Disclosure

Who coordinates the Marketplace and who performs professional work.
OttoServ’s role
OttoServ is a Marketplace coordinator and technology platform. OttoServ may organize intake, evidence, scope, estimates, communications, approvals, and operator review.
OttoServ is not the contractor of record, bank, escrow agent, insurer, emergency dispatcher, or warranty provider.
Professional’s role
A professional is not assigned at intake. If a professional later accepts a project, that professional remains an independent contractor and the contractor of record for the accepted work.
