Operational Communications Policy

Version 2026-07-30.2 · Effective July 30, 2026

Rules for project-related communications and separate marketing choice.

Operational messages

When you consent, OttoServ may use the contact method you provide for project intake status, clarification requests, operator review, professional-selection decisions, scheduling, delays, completion, safety, support, and account security.

Operational consent is not consent to marketing and is not consent to automated calls. Message frequency varies by project. Carrier message and data rates may apply.

Marketing is separate

Marketing messages require a separate optional choice that is unchecked by default. Declining marketing does not block project intake.

Marketing consent may be withdrawn through the method provided in the message or by contacting OttoServ.

No emergency channel

OttoServ messages and voice tools are not monitored as emergency dispatch. Call 911 or the appropriate utility or emergency service for immediate danger.

This policy governs the current OttoServ Marketplace workflow from the effective date shown above. Questions or privacy requests may be sent through the contact form or to jonathan@ottoservco.com.
